NOTICE TO ALL NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS (NPOs)

The Non-Profit Organisation Secretariat hereby notifies all Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) that, with immediate effect, penalties shall be imposed for the late renewal of operating licenses that have expired for three (3) months or more.
A prescribed penalty fee must be paid before the renewal of such licenses. This measure is in accordance with the Secretariat’s Directives for the Management of Non-Profit Organisations Operations in Ghana 2020.
All affected organisations are advised to take the necessary steps to ensure compliance.
The following penalties shall apply in addition to the prescribed renewal fees:
Community-Based Organisations – GHS120.00
National NPOs – GHS700.00
International NPOs – $1400.00
